A reZEB Information Session and Stakeholder Discussion was organised in collaboration with IBCM to promote the project’s objectives and achievements and to encourage dialogue on energy efficiency and Near Zero Energy Buildings (NZEBs) in Kosovo.
The event brought together students, academic staff, industry experts and institutional representatives, creating a platform for knowledge exchange, discussion and stakeholder engagement.
A joint presentation delivered by UC and IBCM provided an overview of the reZEB project, highlighting the involvement of both institutions and the main achievements reached through their participation in the project.
The programme also included expert presentations on key topics related to energy efficiency and NZEBs, including the alignment of Kosovo’s energy-efficiency practices with EU directives, energy efficiency in private and public buildings, and practical experience from the operation of a semi-off-grid house connected to a 400 V power system.
The event concluded with a panel discussion and Q&A session, focusing on the role of academia, public institutions and industry in supporting the transition towards more sustainable energy systems.
The session contributed to the dissemination of the reZEB project and strengthened dialogue among relevant stakeholders, while promoting greater awareness of energy efficiency, NZEB concepts and the importance of cooperation between higher education, institutions and industry.
