As part of the reZEB project, a specialised seminar targeted at industry professionals was organised in Pristina, Kosovo, by Universum International College (UC).
The seminar was delivered in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, in order to increase accessibility and encourage broader participation from industry professionals and other relevant stakeholders. The format also enabled experts from EU partner institutions and the Western Balkan region to contribute to the programme, creating opportunities for direct interaction, exchange of experience and discussion of both European and regional perspectives.
Entitled “Solar Energy Systems for Near Zero Energy Buildings (nZEB): Technical and Regulatory Aspects”, the seminar focused on topics closely related to the needs of the energy and construction sectors.
The programme covered key areas including solar photovoltaic technologies for buildings, energy efficiency and nZEB concepts, legislation and regulatory aspects, government engagement, and stakeholder cooperation.
The seminar brought together academics, industry professionals, experts and stakeholders, strengthening the exchange of knowledge between higher education and the professional sector. It also contributed to the reZEB objective of promoting cooperation between universities and industry and supporting the transfer of knowledge and good practices in the field of sustainable and energy-efficient buildings.
