Towards a more efficient and environmentally friendly building sector in Kosovo.
On 4 September 2024, the reZEB project organised a thematic workshop titled “Towards a More Efficient and Environmentally Friendly Building Sector in Kosovo.” The event brought together companies, engineers, architects, public authorities, and energy-efficiency professionals committed to advancing renewable energy technologies and near-zero energy building (nZEB) solutions.
The workshop focused on practical strategies and innovations supporting the transition to a sustainable construction sector, including energy-efficient building design, solar energy integration, and opportunities for local stakeholders to adopt environmentally responsible practices. Through expert presentations, case studies, and an interactive roundtable discussion, participants explored challenges and solutions for improving energy performance in buildings while strengthening regional cooperation and knowledge exchange within the Western Balkans.
