This was an asynchronous online course delivered by the University of Castilla-La Mancha, which took place between September 18th and October 2nd, 2025. All materials were available at the beginning of the course on the project website, allowing attendees to self-learn, following the advice of WB partners to facilitate participation by professionals. However, three live online sessions were also held. The first session introduced the course and explained the methodology to be followed. The second focused on a key topic—biomass quality and certification—and enabled direct interaction with the speaker, P. Rodero, a Spanish expert in the field and a leading member of major biomass industry associations in both Spain and Europe. He is the Head of the European Projects and Certifications Departments at the Spanish Biomass Association (AVEBIOM), a member of the shareholders’ board of SURE (a sustainability certification scheme for bioenergy), and President of the European Pellet Council. The final live session was dedicated to answering any questions about the course. The material for the asynchronous sessions included both PowerPoint presentations with the course content and video recordings of those presentations with the corresponding explanations from the speakers. All materials were accessible to attendees at the reZEB e-learning project webpage section using their webpage registration credentials.
