Over the course of two dynamic days, the reZEB Project convened experts, stakeholders, and students in Tirana to explore innovative solutions in renewable energy and energy efficiency in buildings. The workshops highlighted the critical intersection of policy, technology, and education in accelerating the green transition.
Day 1, hosted at Kolegji Profesional i Tiranës (KPT), featured the workshop “Building a Greener Future: From Policy to Practice”. Discussions centered on energy policies, efficient technologies, and the role of municipalities in supporting sustainable infrastructure. Experts from academia, government, and industry presented practical measures for improving energy performance in Albania’s building sector.
Day 2, held at Polis University, continued with the workshop “reZEB Dialogues: EU Insights, Albanian Perspectives, and the Future of Energy Efficiency in Buildings”. The sessions explored retrofitting strategies, simulation tools, and sustainable urban planning, bridging EU best practices with national and local developments.
Both events reinforced the importance of collaboration, knowledge exchange, and multidisciplinary engagement in shaping the future of sustainable construction across the Western Balkans. The reZEB project remains committed to empowering academic institutions, municipalities, and professionals to lead the way toward a greener, more energy-efficient future.
