3rd Consortium Meeting of the reZEB Project in Mitrovica, Kosovo

The third consortium meeting of the reZEB Project (Erasmus+, Ref. 101128611) successfully took place from September 2nd to 4th, 2024, at the IBC-M Campus in Mitrovica, Kosovo. This event brought together esteemed project partners, academic institutions, and industry stakeholders to discuss the advancement of renewable energy technologies and energy-efficient building practices in the Western Balkans.

Key Highlights from the Meeting

Day 1: September 2nd

  • Updates on project management, including administrative and financial matters, and progress on equipment procurement.
  • Presentation of survey results and project network updates, led by UEC and UET.
  • Discussions on the modernization of academic modules, focusing on the syllabus development at IBC-M, U_POLIS, and KPT.

Day 2: September 3rd

  • Finalization of academic module updates with contributions from UET and UC.
  • Quality assurance discussions, including the presentation of the reZEB Quality Plan and results from previous monitoring activities.
  • Strategies for enhancing collaboration with industries, covering internships and events related to intellectual property and dissemination.

Day 3: September 4th

  • Workshop: “Towards a More Efficient and Environmentally Friendly Building Sector in Kosovo”
    • Expert presentations on energy efficiency, bioclimatic architecture, and solar energy technologies.
    • A roundtable discussion on the challenges and opportunities for Near Zero Energy Buildings (NZEBs).
