Armend Berisha- Project Manager
Armend holds a Master of Arts on Higher Education Policy Administration from the University of Iowa. He completed his BA in Political Science at the University of Prishtina and another BA in Business and Administration at Universum College. Armend is the Head of International Projects. Armend is currently lecturing at a Student Success seminar at the Universum International College. Armend has an extensive experience on project implementation which were mainly funded by USAID and EU Commission and has a three-year experience on senior management by being a Campus Coordinator of Universum College in Gjakova. Armend is primarily interested in increasing student success in higher education and measuring the effectiveness of innovative and unconventional pedagogical methods.
Muhamet Spahiu- Senior researcher
Prof. Ass. Dr. Muhamet J. Spahiu is engaged in Universum College in the Business and Management program, as well as in the Law program. Bringing many years of experience in lecturing and training, he is oriented towards achieving high performance objectives. He completed his doctoral studies in the field of International Business Laws and EU Laws at the EPD (European School for Peace and Development) of the University of Peace, founded by the United Nations, as well as the field of Economics at the International University of Struga. He has completed his master’s studies in the field of Management and the faculty in Management and Informatics at the University of Prishtina. He has 22 years of experience in various fields and sectors of the economy, starting with international humanitarian agencies, banks, private companies, public institutions, universities and as an expert in various specialized agencies. It is singled out for high performance management in all sectors where it is engaged. Diverse experiences make him prepared in management, economic development, especially in the bottom-up approach, finance and accounting and commercial legal representation. In addition to experience and academic advancement, he has also engaged in various training and specializations. He is certified as a project manager by PMI Pennsylvania, trainer of trainers in bottom-up economic development, accounting, has managed over 40 strategic planning processes. Scientific research is mainly focused on the areas of sustainable economic and business development, economic policies, innovative management, advancement of the banking sector, with a special focus on the manufacturing industry due to the importance they have in the development of a country’s economy. He has intensively started with scientific works in recent years and all the works are published in scientific journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Some of the papers are accepted pending publication in future issues. There are also scientific papers in various conferences in the country and abroad.
Blerina Frrokaj- Administrative staff
Blerina Frrokaj is a skilled professional with a wealth of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language from Universum International College. Currently serving as a Project Assistant at UNI- Universum International College, she is recognized for her detail-oriented approach, excelling in problem-solving and teamwork. Her proficiency in conducting research for potential partners, ensuring effective communication, and fostering valuable networking connections showcases her commitment to precision. In her previous role as an Administrative Assistant at UNI, Blerina demonstrated exceptional organizational skills in managing administrative tasks and the student services department. Coordinating various student training programs, overseeing social media accounts, and contributing to the recruitment process highlighted her strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities. Adaptability, multitasking, and time management are integral components of her skill set, allowing her to navigate diverse responsibilities with ease. As a dynamic professional, Blerina consistently strives for excellence in contributing to project success and organizational objectives.
